ISABELLE VIGIER ARTIST
As a visual artist Isabelle works with photography and video to create image series and installations. Her work offers a vision of the moving body and the spaces it inhabits, with implications sometimes historical, political or poetic. She also works collaboratively, often for dance or music productions with composers and choreographers.
Her work has been shown across Europe, in the US, South America and Australia, in exhibitions and on stage. She is resident artist at Movement Exposed Gallery in Utrecht, NL. View landmark projects here.
STUDIO ISABELLE VIGIER
An independent art director & graphic artist known for the elegant and thoughtful designs she creates for art related projects, Isabelle Vigier carries out commissions and self initiated projects. Her studio is based in Brussels BE.
She excels in the disciplines of concept, art direction, image-making, graphic design, book design, editorial design. The nature of her collaborative projects range widely across the fields of dance, music, cinema, the visual arts and the publishing world. She is an artistic partner for musicians’ ensembles, record labels and theater- and dance companies, often on a long-term basis.
Isabelle is co-founder, co-artistic director and designer for the experimental/electronic music imprint Unsounds, based in Amsterdam and Brussels.

“The concepts I develop for my patrons and partners are based on a sensitive and practical understanding of their needs, based on study and dialogue, and starting with a clear definition of their goals. I believe in clarity, simplicity and equal consideration for functional and emotional adequacy. This translates in appropriate, effective and original solutions in concept and design. I enjoy the versatility of design and my work has extended into a variety of methods; my knowledge of printing, production and materials allows me to take on complex or non-standard projects, in print, object or environmental design, as well as in new technologies.”
Isabelle Vigier collaborates regularly with other creative specialists such as digital media experts; it is always an option either to join or create and coordinate a team for a particular project.
